Lucknow: In a weird incident in Uttar Pradesh, a child was rejected from admission to a school for the name in her Aadhar card as 'Baby Five of Madhu' in English and 'Madhu Ka Panchwa Baccha' in the Hindi language.
The incident was reported by officials on Monday from the Budaun area of Uttar Pradesh, where the girl went with her guardian to get admitted to a government school.
According to reports, apart from the strange name written on the Aadhar Card one more reason to reject the admission was that the card doesn't even have an Aadhar number.
On Saturday 2nd April, Dinesh from the Raipur village which is in the Bilsi Tehsil approached the primary school in Budaun to get his daughter's admission done.
The school teacher asked for all necessary documents verification before confirming the admission on which Dinesh provided the Aadhar card with a bizarre name.
Officials informed that on presenting such an inappropriate document of Aadahr name error the admission of the child to the school was rejected by the teacher identified as Ekta Varshney.
Ekta Varshney asked the girl's father to make the necessary correction in the Aadhar card that is needed for completing the admission procedure.
Meanwhile, the Aadhar card with the name 'Baby Five of Madhu' has gone viral on social media platforms as it is widely shared by netizens.
On speaking about the matter, District Magistrate Deepa Ranjan said that all Aadhar Cards are made in banks and post offices and the mistake in the UP girl's Aadhar card occurred due to complete negligence in preparing the card.
She further added that the officials of banks and post offices will be alert and strict action will be taken against those people responsible for such mistake of making an unusual name on a citizen's Aadhar card.
It may be mentioned that the Aadhar Card and its number play a significant role in any kind of official procedure and therefore it is very essential to be aware of the corrections needed in those cards to avoid such inconvenience.
