DGCA Extends Suspension of International Passenger Flights till August 31, 2021

NEW DELHI: The Director General of Civil Aviation has issued a circular stating the directive on suspension of scheduled international passenger flights extended till August 31, 2021. 

The circular read, "In partial modification of the circular date 26/06/2020, the competant authority has further extended the validity of circular issued on the subject cited regarding scheduled international commercial passenger services to/from India till 23:59 hrs IST 31/08/2021."

"This restriction shall not apply to international all-cargo operations and flights specifically approved DGCA. However the international scheduled flights may be allowed on selected growths by the competent authority on case to case basis," the circular added further.

The Ministry of Civil Aviation tweeted, "Suspension of scheduled international passenger flights extended till August 31, 2021. #COVID_19"
