NEW DELHI: The promise of generative artificial intelligence (AI) has recently attracted attention from all across the world. A chatbot dubbed "GitaGPT" was developed by Google engineer Vineet in order to apply the idea differently. The Bhagavad Gita, an ancient Hindu text, is referenced by this chatbot to respond to questions about spirituality. It was trained using OpenAI's GPT-3 language model.

It delivers insights based on the wisdom that the Bhagavad Gita is enriched with, and GitaGPT is designed to give insights and assistance for overcoming life's obstacles. By showcasing a range of queries that users can ask, Vineet, the developer of GitaGPT, has illustrated the capabilities of the language model.

He occasionally posed the question, "I'm anxious about my future; what should I do? The Bhagavad Gita teaches that one should not be connected to the results of their efforts, but rather focus on the present moment and do their best with the task at hand, GitaGPT responded in response.

It said, "Those who possess wisdom should work to maintain their composure and carry out their duties without thinking about the future. You can find balance and calm in the present moment through yoga, which is a terrific approach to reach this mental state."

GitaGPT has undergone maintenance and is now back in action. Vineet announced the information on social media, pointing out that the chatbot has been enhanced with fresh features including OTP-based authentication and rate limitation to stop excessive and spamming requests.

One of India's ancient writings, the Bhagavad Gita, was developed from the Mahabharata, an epic poem. With more than 100,000 shlokas, or more than 200,000 verses, this poem continues to hold the record for being the longest poem ever composed throughout history. The Bhagavad Gita is merely a portion of this enormous work, but it is arguably one of the most significant and beloved yogic scriptures ever produced.
