Hunt begins for India’s first ever All Girls Korean Pop band

GUWAHATI: Haircare brand Livon in partnership with international music channel 9XO has launched the hunt for India’s first-ever All Girls Korean Pop (K-Pop) band. With the number of K-Pop fans increasing day-by-day, the genre has created one of the biggest waves in the global circuit of music and entertainment and gained immense popularity with gen-Z across the globe.

The haircare brand has decided to launch the mega hunt since many K-pop stars becoming major global fashion influencers and shaping fashion trends worldwide. Livon will not only focus on the hunt for singing talents across the country but will also groom the contestants into getting an awesome K-Pop look.

The talent hunt is aimed at finding and refining the best K-Pop talent from across the country and contest is open to all K-Pop enthusiasts in India.

The selected band of 5 Indian girls will get a chance to record their K-Pop music video and release it on air with 9XO.

It is to be mentioned that, the ground auditions for Livon’s India’s Top All Girls Korean Pop band (K-Pop) Stars already began in Guwahati and Shillong. Shortlisting of the winners and mentoring sessions will be held at Mumbai.

Livon has also partnered with famous musicians from the North East region namely, Aloba Naga, Alune Tetseo and Kuvelu Tetseo.

Reportedly, the auditions will take place in Guwahati on Wednesday at Cotton University and in Shillong at St. Anthony’s College on Thursday.
