Kanpur: A minor, seven-year-old girl was found dead in Bhadras village in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The brutal incident happened on Sunday, when two men killed and extracted the liver and other body parts of the dead minor girl as a part of an 'occult ritual'.
A childless couple from the victim's village paid an amount of Rs 1,000 to two men, who were the neighbours of the girl to perform an occult ritual. They asked the men to perform this supernatural ritual so that they can have a child.
The two men, identified as one Ankul and Beeran kidnapped the girl on Saturday night. The men got drunk and tried to sexually assault the minor. When she resisted their moves, they tied her hands. They killed her and allegedly removed the liver from the victim's body. They took the extracted liver to the couple who paid them to do the ritual.
The police said that a few other body parts were also extracted by the men.
The police arrested all the four related to the Kanpur girl murder case, including the couple.
The senior police officer of Kanpur Police, Brajesh Srivastava said that the accused men confessed about the conspiracy when they were interrogated. Parshuram and his wife paid Ankul and Beeran to commit the crime. Parshuram married in 1999, but they had no children.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has asked the officials to take strict actions against the four accused. CM Adityanath has extended an amount of Rs 5 lakh to the victim's family.
The case would be taken up in the fast-track court so that the victim's family get justice and the accused are punished as soon as possible.
