Guwahati: The year that is ready to wrap up has shown so many big fat Indian weddings to the Indian people to remember. It was basically a year for many big names, businessmen and Bollywood celebrities’ wedding right from Sonam Kapoor, Dipika Padukone-Ranveer Singh, Prinyak Chopra- Nick Jonas to Isha Ambani-Anand Piramal wedding. Of them, the costliest was the one when the multi-millionaire of the country gets his daughter married. It was Isha Ambani’s wedding in December that left many wondering as to how much night have spent by Mukesh Ambani to make sure that his daughter’s wedding remains remarkable for many more years to come.

Now after all the Isha-Anand celebrations and their wedding reception, what is attracting all the attention is the multi-million dollar mansion that Isha Ambani will move into with husband, Anand Piramal.

The multi-million dollar mansion is a 50,000 square-foot mansion and is located in Worli in South Mumbai. The best part, the mansion gives a view of the Arabian Sea and the Sea-Link bridge. A gift from her in-laws the Piramals, this mansion is, however, much smaller than what her father owns. Her father’s mansion, that she used to live before her marriage is a 27-floor, 400,000 square foot Tetris-tower-like residence and is a prominent structure on the Mumbai skyline.

It was in Isha’s wedding with Anand that Mukesh Ambani left no stone unturned to make sure that the world recalls this marriage as an event of the year with money being spent like nothing. Right from Hollywood performer Beyonce to US political leader Hilary Clinton, John Kerry to Saudi Oil Minister Khalid Al-Falih, private equity doyens Stephen Schwarzman and Henry Kravis, CPPIB CEO Mark Machin, and WPP Founder Martin Sorrell and all top-notch Bollywood actors, everybody was present to witness the wedding celebrations of the Ambani family.

It was being to media that after the wedding rituals and celebrations, the newly-weds are to move into Gulita, the mansion that the groom’s parents gave them as a wedding present.

The Primals too are one of the leading names in the real estate and pharma business who had bought this property at a reported price of $62 million in 2012. Previously, it was owned by Hindustan Unilever.
