Meerut: Fleeing way from home with little money her hand, a 28 year old woman from Meerut was determined to not give up on her dreams. Back in 2013, when her mother passed away due to illness, she was pressured to drop out of college and settle down.

Seven years later, the inspirational woman Sanju Rani Verma has cracked the Public Service Commission (PSC) examination to become a commercial tax officer.

Born in a family, where women's education isn't encouraged, Verma had to battle tooth and nail to pursue her dreams.

Despite the heartbreak of losing her mother and fulfilling her ambition, she got a small room for herself to live in.

She would tutor students to make money, and also took up part-time teaching jobs in private schools. This way, she funded her education.

Finally her hard work and constant determination paid off well when Verma cleared the UPPSC-2018 exam, the result of which was declared last week.

While disclosing her future plans, she stated,"I was expecting the post of sub-divisional magistrate. My final aim is to crack the civil services exam and become a district magistrate."

More power to her and hope other women across India learn from her example!
