Meet The Married Couple Who Topped Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission Exam - Read Details

With consistent hard work and faith, a married couple from Chhattisgarh has to create an outstanding example to the society, they have again proved that nothing is impossible together. Hard work and determination to achieve a common goal helped them to top in Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission exam. Anubhav Singh  and his wife Vibha Singh has secured the first and second rank in the examination, respectively.

Happiness knew no bounds for the married couple when they got the good news. Speaking to the media, the happiest topper Anubhav Singh confronted, "It is difficult to express how happy we feel today. I have been waiting for this moment all my life. After so many unsuccessful attempts, I still believed that we both would clear the examination".

The married couple had been preparing for the examination for the last 11 years. They met in 2008 through a study group and tied the knot in 2014.

"We used to study together. Even when we used to sit together to chat, it would turn into a study session," he added.

The second topper, Vibha Singh with echoing the same sentiments said, "I knew we both would get selected, but did not fathom that we would top the exam”.

She had been working as the Assistant Development Officer (ADO) in the Department Of Panchayat and Rural Development for the past seven years and maintains studies and work simultaneously all these years.

Articles 315 to 323 in Part XIV of the Constitution of India provides for the establishment of Public Service Commission for the Union and a Public Service Commission for each State. The same set of Articles (i.e., 315 to 323 in Part XIV) of the Constitution also deal with the composition, appointment, and removal of members, power and functions and independence of a Public Service Commission. Union Public Service Commission to conduct examinations for recruitment to all India services and higher Central services and to advise the President on disciplinary matters. State Public Service Commission in every state to conduct examinations for recruitment to state services and to advise the governor on disciplinary matters.
