Guwahati: Sonu Sood, widely hailed as a messiah of the migrant laborers of India who were hit hard by the coronavirus induced lockdown, has just recently performed his most noble and praiseworthy deed.

Recently, the actor has come forward to adopt 3 children whose parents passed away at the Athmakur village of Yadadri-Bhongir district in Telangana.

The plight of the unfortunate kids first came to Sood's notice when a user by the name of Rajesh Karanam tweeted to the actor by writing, "@SonuSood three kids lost their parents from yadadri Bhuvanagiri district Telangana and These 3 Kids Don't have anybody and the elder kid taking care. Now they became orphans. They are seeking your help. Please help them."

He also shared a video where it was revealed that the 3 siblings lost their father a year ago and their mother also succumbed to death a few days ago. In the video, the eldest of the trip appeals Sonu Sood to help them as they have no one else to turn towards.

"I have seen several videos of Sonu Sood uncle helping the needy. If only such an uncle would come to our rescue, I would like to become a doctor and take care of the poor," nine-year-old Manohar of Atmakur said in the video that went viral.

After seeing the heart-wrenching video, Sood was quick to declare that he would take the kids under his own wing.

"They are no longer orphans. They will be my responsibility." tweeted actor Sonu Sood.

This is the second benevolent gesture from Sood within a week. A 26-year-old woman techie from Hyderabad who was selling vegetables after being laid off of her MNC job has received help from actor Sonu Sood, who offered her a job. Unadadi Sharada, a B.tech in Computer Science lost her job owing to the pandemic induced lockdown.
