The body of the young girl was discovered packed inside the luggage by police when they raided the 32-year-old suspect's home. The young child, a resident of Kolkata's Sridhar Roy Road, has been missing since early on March 26.

According to early reports, the victim's relatives reported her missing to the Tiljala police station on Sunday, March 26, around 12 p.m. The family's surrounding neighbourhood, which included 32 flats, was thoroughly searched by the authorities.
