GUWAHATI: In yet another incident regarding untoward incidents aboard flights in India, the cabin crew had to clean up parts of the plane after a passenger created an untoward situation in the plane.

Multiple photographs surfaced of the Indigo flight staff cleaning up the aisle of a plane after an alleged drunk passenger had created a mess while the plane was in the air. The incident took place onboard an Indigo flight between Guwahati and New Delhi.

The air hostesses onboard the flight had to clean up the mess after the unexpected behaviour of the passenger to ensure that the other passengers were safe. The incident took place onboard Indigo flight number 6E 762 on March 26. The flight leaves from Guwahati at around 6 PM to reach New Delhi at around 8 PM.

Some of the other passengers mentioned that the girls managed to handle the situation exceptionally well to ensure that the situation remains under control.

“Indigo 6E 762 : Guwahati to Delhi. Intoxicated passenger vomited on the aisle and defecated all around the toilet. Leading lady Shewta cleaned up all the mess and all the girls managed the situation exceptionally well. Salute girl power” mentioned Bhaskar Dev Konwar, one of the passengers on board the flight with a photograph of the crew member cleaning the aisle.

However, no official statement regarding the incident was given by the airline and it is not sure whether any action has been taken against the drunk passenger.

Another incident took place on the day of the Holi festival this year, that is March 8. The two pilots in charge of the Delhi to Guwahati flight of SpiceJet were spotted having snacks on the console.

The airline reportedly grounded the two pilots who were seen eating gujiya, a popular Indian snack, and tea inside the cockpit. On top of that the cups can be seen placed on the critical console of the cockpit. As per the officials of SpiceJet airline, this action of the pilots put the safety of the flight in jeopardy.
