Pune, October 17: In a hilarious turn of events, someone posted a hilarious poster depicting a notification about a stolen bus stop in Pune with a reward of Rs 5000 to anyone who finds it. The sign, which has text in Marathi translates to 'The public bus stop in front of BT Kabde Devaki Police Station, has been stolen. If anyone finds the bus stop or knows any information about it, please get in touch- you will be rewarded Rs 5000 award."

The poster was put up by a local leader and social activist from Pune- Prashant (Anna) Mhaske. A Reddit user sent in an update that read, 'So I asked a couple of street vendors about it. They said nothing like this happened in daylight. However, they are not sure who took it. The point being there was a bus stop there earlier, and someone definitely 'stole' it. It could be Pune Mahanagar Parivahan.'

While the incident left many people baffled and reeking in laughter, a section of people suspects that the bus stop thieves stole it to sell off the parts in the scrap metal market.

In another astonishing robbery incident in February 2020, a group of thieves stole an SUV vehicle from near Naraina in Delhi and later visited a government-owned bank, uprooted the ATM there, and fled. However, the thieves didn't realize that the vehicle has GPS tracking and was giving details of the location to its owner. It showed robbery movement towards Delhi Cantonment and later turned to Dhaula Kuan. The SUV owner Hermender Singh found an ATM with ropes attached to it at the back of the SUV. The police then reached the spot and took the stolen ATM in possession. They also received a call about an ATM being stolen near a guesthouse in Naraina.
