JAIPUR: A report stated on Sunday that eighteen people, including seven children, died during lightning strikes in Rajasthan after rain lashed several parts of the state on the same day. The police said that close to Amber Fort, 11 people were killed and over twelve others injured during the lightning strike. It is to be mentioned that state disaster response force teams got the ball rolling and rushed the injured to the hospital. The deceased included two tourists. The news Rajasthan lightning strike deaths have expressed by many people, especially lightning strike kids' death is horrible.

Senior police officer Anand Srivastava said that some of the victims were taking selfies close to the lookout when lightning struck late Sunday. Somewhere else, four children died in Kota and three in the Dholpur district of the state because of the lightning strike.

Sharad Chowdhary, Superintendent of Police, Kota provincial, said that four children were killed in the lightning strike in Garda town in the Kanwas region. The children had taken their goats for grazing in the forest and shelter from rainfall under the tree which was struck by lightning. He further said that four others, including three kids, were injured and were given medical care. In the Kudina town of Dholpur district, three children were killed during the lightning strike while they were out with their cows. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has mourned the deaths and reported an ex gratia of Rs 5 lakh to the families of the deceased.

The saddest news that is striking back at lightning with lasers, which killed many people of Rajasthan, has emerged fear of everyone. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressed his deepest condolences over the lightning deaths of the deceased. He took to Twitter and posted that many people have lost their lives because of the lightning in some areas of Rajasthan. He wrote that he is deeply disheartened by the demise of people. He also expressed his deepest condolences to the families of the deceased.
