Shocking: Women in Jharkhand Receives both Doses of COVID-19 Vaccine within 10 Minutes

In a frightening occurrence today in Jharkhand's Godda district, a woman from Jharkhand received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccination without a gap in a single day. While the federal and state governments work to raise vaccination awareness, an Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) gave two doses of vaccine to a woman in less than ten minutes.

The event occurred at a vaccination centre in Godda district's Deodar Panchayat Bhawan. 

Bulbul Dutt, the victim, had gone to the healthcare centre to get vaccinated. She, like everyone else in line, received a dosage of the vaccination and was placed under surveillance. After a while, her name was called again. When the woman went to the ANM, she was given a second dosage despite the fact that she had previously got it a few minutes before. 

Bulbul Dutt claimed that she constantly mentioned that she had been vaccinated, but the ANM ignored her and delivered another dosage. 

Bulbul was taken aback by the event. On the other side, the village head, who arrived at the Panchayat building after getting the information, stated that taking two dosages in a single day was not a major deal. "Just eat and drink properly and there will be no trouble," he said. 

Bulbul, who is complaining of weakness, has voiced doubts about the health department, which committed this heinous error. The Health Department, on the other hand, has been deafeningly silent on the subject. 

Meanwhile, the new policy of India's immunisation plan will begin today, with the Central Government providing free vaccinations against COVID-19 to adults across the country. 

According to top government officials who are part of the team supervising the COVID-19 immunisation push, states would be told in July that 75 percent of the 13.5 crore shots will be made available free of charge for early planning.

According to sources, 12 crore doses would be accessible by the end of June, up from 7.5 crore doses in May, as updated vaccination recommendations go into force on Monday.
