Guwahati: Investigative agencies that are probing the drug angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput demise case have revealed '4 big names' that are under the scanner following conclusive proof, said reports.

Sources informed that out of the four big names, two are Mumbai-based politicians, one is an actor and another one is a filmmaker.

This comes as an explosive development amid investigative agencies probing into Rhea Chakraborty's link to purportedly illegal drugs.

Sources also stated that NCB Director-General Rakesh Asthana was in Mumbai to take stock of the probe so far.

Meanwhile, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has filed a case under sections 20, 27, and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS).

These sections relate to criminal conspiracy in procuring and consuming illegal drugs.

As per reports, the NCB will summon them to question their alleged links with drug suppliers but sources have said that Rhea is likely to be summoned first.

It is to be mentioned that with actors, politicians, and filmmakers under the scanner of the agencies, the drug angle in the Sushant demise case that was revealed first by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) continues to grow bigger.
