Telangana Girl Abducted In Presence Of Her Father, CCTV Footage Goes Viral

HYDERABAD : In a frightening episode, a girl was kidnapped right in the presence of her father on Tuesday morning. The incident took place in Rajanna Sircilla district, while the girl went to visit a Hanuman temple in her village and was attacked by four men. 

The prime accused has been identified as Gyaneshwar, someone who married the victim when she was a minor and was arrested for eloping with her in the past. According to media reports, a case was registered against him for this act. 

The incident occurred at Moodapally village in Chandurthi mandal of Rajanna Sircilla district in Telangana. The four accused arrived in a car and waited outside the temple. 

At around 5:30 am on Tuesday morning, the 18 year old victim went to the Hanuman Temple with her father. The miscreants kidnapped her while returning to her home. One of the criminal forced her into the car and made her sit while the others tackled her father and pushed him away. 

The girl tried to escape but failed. The accused took the car and immediately fled away from the spot. A manhunt has been initiated by the department to catch the accused. 

The incident was captured in a CCTV footage, which revealed one of the four was a lover of the victim. The footage captured the entire incident starting from their arrival at the spot of incident till they left the place. 

According to sources, three teams has started their work to nab the four accused persons and rescue the 18 year old girl. 

This particular case draws attention to the ongoing crimes taking place in Telangana, lately. It has also questioned the safety of women in the region. The parents claim that it is a case of kidnapping, however, further investigation is still on. The CCTV footage went all viral in social media platforms.
