TV Actress Malvi Malhotra stabbed thrice with a sharp knife

Mumbai: In a very shocking incident, Malvi Malhotra, a television actress was attacked with a sharp knife. The actress was stabbed at least thrice by the accused, who is known to the actress.  The incident took place late on Monday night.

Following the attack, she was admitted to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai, where she is currently undergoing treatment. As per the latest update, she is out of danger.

The Mumbai Police have lodged an FIR against the accused at Versova Police Station under section 307 and 354 of Indian Penal code. The police are conducting an investigation and are yet to arrest the accused.

The accused is identified as Yogesh Kumar, who was known to the actress. He allegedly stabbed her as she turned down his proposal for marriage. He attacked the actress thrice with a sharp knife in her abdomen and on her hands. The incident happened around 9 PM on Monday night when Malvi was returning home from a café. The accused immediately fled after committing the crime.
