On Sunday, Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik took to Twitter to post a photo of what he said was NCB officer Sameer Wankhede's nikah. He believes Wankhede was born a Muslim and lied about his caste to get into the public sector.

In the image's description, he added, "Qubool hai, qubool hai, qubool hai, qubool hai, qubool hai, qubool hai, qubool hai, qubool hai, qubool hai, qubool hai, qubool hai, qubool hai, qubool hai, qubool hai, qubool hai, qubool What did you do, Sameer Dawood Wankhede?"

A Nationalist Congress Party minister, Sameer Wankhede, has claimed that he was born a Muslim but lied about his caste to get entry to a civil service position designated for Scheduled Castes (SC). On the other side, Sameer Wankhede and his family have argued that the

Nilofer Malik Khan, Nawab Malik's daughter, claimed on Twitter on Saturday to have published Sameer Wankhede's marriage certificate and wedding reception card. These documents pertain to his first marriage with Shabana Quraishi. On the supposed wedding card, the bridegroom's name is given as "Sameer" (s/o Mr Dawood and Mrs Zaheda Wankhede). The Wankhede family asserts that Sameer Wankhede's father's name is Dnyandev, despite Nawab Malik's assertion that his name is Dawood.

AN ORDER FROM THE HIGH COURT OF BOMBAY WILL BE ISSUED SOON.

In addition, the Bombay High Court is set to rule on Sameer Wankhede's father's plea for an injunction in his defamation case against Nawab Malik on Monday. On Sameer Wankhede's father's plea for a "temporary injunction" against Nawab Malik, the panel had already delayed its ruling. Dnyandev Wankhede had requested the court to prevent Nawab Malik from publishing "defamatory comments" on social media about him and his family.

NCB vs. NCP

Sameer Wankhede and Nawab Malik have been at odds since the prosecution of the high-profile Mumbai cruise drugs case began. The ministry has levelled a number of serious charges against Sameer Wankhede, including extortion. In the case at hand, the NCB and Mumbai police have launched an inquiry into extortion accusations made by witness testimony, which is still ongoing. Nawab Malik's son-in-law Sameer Khan was earlier caught in a drugs case by an NCB unit commanded by Sameer Wankhede. He was later released on bail.
