CHANDIGARH: A truck and a pickup van crashed on Thursday night in the Baloda Bazar-Bhatapara district of Chhattisgarh, resulting in up to 11 fatalities. Apart from the deceased, several people received grievous injuries in the mishap.
For some family business, the victims from the Sahu family had travelled from Khilora to Arjuni.
The family was travelling towards Bhatapara when the accident occurred close to the DPWS school in Khamaria.
The police were notified of the occurrence, and they arrived on the scene and sent the injured people to the hospital.
A horrifying and episode came to light from Assam’s Sonitpur district, where five youths lost their lives in a car accident. The gruesome accident occured at Sonitpur’s Balipara area on 24th of February, Friday. As per the latest reports, the youths were travelling in a Swift Dzire and following the incident, all of them died on spot.
The deceased victims has been identified as Dipen Bora, Bidyut Nath, Akashdeep Bora, Bhaikon Patangiya and Biswajit Saikia. The accident occurred as a result of loss in control of the vehicle. As per source, the car skidded into a ditch beside the road.
The victims were travelling from Balipara and approaching towards Tezpur when the accident took place. The five passengers were returning after attending a marriage ceremony, as per sources.
In an unfortunate happening on 20th of January morning, six school going girls got wistfully injured in Assam's Dhubri district. The road mishap occurred at Tamarhat area of the region.
As per sources, the girls were heading towards their school in an e-rickshaw when a speeding two wheeler bike collided head on with the rickshaw. However, the man in the two wheeler did not receive any sort of major injury.
