NEW DELHI: Following a disturbance on an IndiGo 6E-6383 flight from Delhi to Patna, two passengers were detained by Patna Airport Police with the assistance of the CISF. According to Patna Airport SHO, the arrest was conducted as a result of a written complaint from IndiGo's manager. The two travellers, Rohit and Nitish, were apprehended and given to the Patna Airport Police on Sunday night (January 8).

Initial reports state that IndiGo warned Patna ATC prior to landing that two passengers were carrying alcohol. After arrival, according to sources, IndiGo lodged a formal protest with the relevant authority at Patna Airport in Bihar over the presence of alcohol on board with passengers. According to sources, the crew members stopped the passengers from drinking alcohol, and they sent a letter of apology to the passengers.
