30 year old woman's burnt body found behind temple at Shamshabad in Telangana

Guwahati: Less than a day after the horrific case of the gang-rape and brutal murder incident of a veterinarian came to light from Telangana who was allegedly raped and then murdered, a 30-year-old woman's burnt body was found in the same locality, a Police report states.

The woman's body was found behind a temple at Fort Road in Saidulgatta in Shamshabad.

Preliminary investigations suggest the possibility of suicide and no apparent links to the case involving the veterinarian so far was developed, according to the police.

As per Telangana Police several teams have been formed to ascertain her identity.

No one has been detained for questioning yet. Since she was Hindi speaking, teams are being sent to Hindi-speaking localities, informed police.

It is to be noted that the body has suffered over sixty percent burns and has been sent to a government hospital for post-mortem.

Meanwhile, sniffer dogs were brought to the spot to investigate and forensic team members were at the spot collecting pieces of cloth and other objects that would help ascertain the identity of those involved.
