AIMIM's Chief Asaduddin Owaisi Provided With Z Category Security Cover

Meerut: The government has accorded Z-category security cover to AIMIM leader and MP Asaduddin Oaisi following the attack on him by miscreants on Thursday in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut.

The AIMIM leader's convoy was attacked by miscreants at the Kithoudh area of Meerut last night while he was going for election campaigns.

Miscreants fired four rounds of bullets on his car. The incident created sensations across the country.

According to reports, the government has provided Z-category security by commandos of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) to the AIMIM leader, who is known as a vocal politician.

Meanwhile, two people have been arrested by the police in connection with the attack on the AIMIM leader.

His party has fielded candidates in some of Uttar Pradesh Constituencies that go to the polls shortly.
