New Delhi: Another special Air India flight, which flew from Hungary carrying 250 students stranded in Ukraine has reached Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport.
The flight landed at Terminal No 3 of Indira Gandhi International Airport. At present, the students are inside and some formalities are being completed.
Help desks have been provided by the state governments to the students going to their homes from the airport.
Some of the students' family members also reached the airport to welcome them.
India on February 27 began the evacuation of its stranded citizens amid the Russian military offensive in Ukraine, with the first evacuation flight, AI1944, bringing back 219 people from Bucharest to Mumbai in the evening.
On Thursday 24 February, at the time when numerous planes were heading towards Ukraine, a notice was served to all the aircraft after which Air India took the decision to return back towards India's capital Delhi.
In the previous week, Air India has made several round trips to Ukraine so that it brings the Indians home safely.
