Amazon To Host Career Day For Job Seekers This Month

New Delhi: Amazon has announced that it will host Career Day for jobseekers. The Amazon Career Day will be held on September 15 and September 16, 2021. This opportunity has been granted to the Indian citizens. 

The event will be organized virtually. Interested job seekers can hear from Amazon leaders in recruiting experts by joining the live stream. A career coaching session can also be booked with an Amazon HR representative.

The event will start in India at 10 am on September 16. Amazon India's growth story will be shared by Amit Agarwal who is the Global Senior VP and also the Country Head. The CEO of Amazon will share insights on career advice, and tips and tricks to crack interviews at Amazon.

Those who are interested can register online. 'India – Main Programming and Career Coaching' has already sold out. 

It is for the first time that Amazon is hosting such an event in countries such as Japan, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, UK and Canada.

Amazon has also shared that it is looking for job seekers to fill more than 8,000 vacant posts in 35 cities across the country. These cities are Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Kolkata, Noida, Amritsar, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Coimbatore, Jaipur, Kanpur, Ludhiana, Pune, and Surat and more.

On a global scale, the company has plans to hire 55000 people. It currently has over 1 lakh professionals.
