Ananya Panday Says She Was 'Joking' After WhatsApp Chats Show She Agreed To Arrange Drugs For Aryan Khan

Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau has summoned Bollywood actress Ananya Panday over her conversation with Aryan Khan on WhatsApp where the actress had allegedly agreed to arrange 'ganja' for the star kid. It is to be mentioned that Aryan Khan is currently in jail for his alleged involvement in the Mumbai cruise drug raid case.

The officials from NCB informed, "At one point in the conversation between Aryan Khan and Ananya Pandey, Aryan was talking to Ananya about ganja. Aryan was asking if there could be some 'jugaad' to arrange the weed."

Ananya Panday had reportedly replied, "I will arrange."

When being interrogated by the NCB about the same, Ananya Panday claimed that she was "joking".

On Thursday, the NCB had conducted a raid in the residence of Ananya Panday where she lives with her father Chunkey Panday in Mumbai. She was later called for questioning on the same evening which lasted about 2 hours. The actress has been summoned again by the NCB on Friday.

However, the NCB has found no other evidence on Ananya Panday in regard to procurement or consumption of drugs. Notably, the actress has had many conversations with Aryan Khan about drugs and contraband.

Ananya Panday and Aryan Khan studied together at the Dhirubhai Ambani International School and are very good friends.
