New Delhi: National executive members of RSS and senior BJP
leader Ram Madhav has asked for an investigation into the files which was
cleared and deal which was made when Satya Pal Malik was the Governor of the
Jammu and Kashmir.
The statement of Ram Madhav came after former Governor of J&K on October has alleged that during his tenure to clear files which was belonged to 'Ambani' and a senior RSS leader, he was offered bribe.
Malik who was Governor of J&K from 2018-2019 is now serving as the Governor of Meghalaya.
During an interaction with reporters in Rajkot where, Ram Madhav went to promote his recently published book "The Hindutva Paradigm", he made the statement.
"Meghalaya Governor Satya Pal Malik has indirectly levelled allegations that there was a file in my name in J&K and that there was some talk about paying money in that respect," a media report quoted Madhav as saying.
"Such type of allegations are all false. There is no question of there being a file in my name or at my behest. It's a false allegation…," he said. "So far as his attempts to indirectly point at me by repeatedly referring to 'one RSS functionary', I'll explore the legal remedy for this, once I return to Delhi," Madhav further said.
Madhav said, "We will certainly initiate legal action but I also want (investigated) all the deals of his time, as he is saying he cancelled two of them. Why were they cancelled?"
