Body Of 60-year-old Widow Raped After Being Killed By 19-Year-Old in Rajasthan

Jaipur: The body of a 60-year-widow was allegedly raped after being killed by a 19-year-old boy in the district of Hanumangarh in Rajasthan.

The incident is said to have taken place in Dulmana village under Pilibanga police station on Thursday night. 

As per the police, the boy had attempted to rape the woman and killed her after she resisted.

The boy has been identified as Surender alias Mandia and has been arrested by the police.

The police said, "We have registered an FIR against Mandia under various sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC). We have arrested the accused."

After killing the woman and raping her body, the boy narrated the whole incident to the dead woman's brother-in-law. 

The police also said that the brother-in-law has claimed that Madia had molested the woman and snatched her phone a day prior to the incident. 

"The accused during questioning has confessed his crime," the police informed.

Crimes against women seem to never end. On September 10, a 30-year-old woman was raped by a 45-year-old man in a stationary tempo in the Saki Naka area of Mumbai. The woman was also brutally assaulted with an iron rod by the man.

As per the latest news, the 30-year-old woman had died while undergoing treatment in Mumbai. The Saki Naka rape case bears a close resemblance to the Nibhaya rape case in Delhi that shook the whole nation in 2012.
