Tamil Nadu: Defying stringent COVID-19 lockdown norms thousand of people gathered and took part in a funeral procession a temple bull in Tamil Nadu's Madurai district. The bull, which won several prizes in the Jallikattu, died on April 12 due to old age. Than, thousands of people took out a procession taking the carcass of the bull. At first some people took out the procession and later they were joined by many others. Immediately, the police registered a case against several people on charges of taking part in the procession, infringing the ongoing lockdown norms. A police source told that in Tamil Nadu temple bulls are considered as holy and nobody ties them. The police authority also suspended two cops, holding responsible for the incident
