Guwahati: The price of the LPG cylinder has been increased for the second time in a month on May 18. The rate of a domestic LPG cylinder has been hiked by Rs. 3.50 while the price of a commercial cylinder has been shot up by Rs. 8.
The domestic cylinder will now cost over Rs 1000 in almost all the cities throughout the country following the hike in prices.
As a result of the price rise, the cost of a domestic LPG cylinder will now amount to Rs 1003 in Delhi and Mumbai while the domestic LPG cylinder in Kolkata will be priced at Rs 1029. On the other hand, it will cost Rs 1018.5 in Chennai from May 19.
Earlier on May 7, the price of a cylinder was hiked by Rs 50 and the commercial cylinder had also become expensive along with the domestic cylinder.
