DELHI: In a sensational shootout incident at Rohini court premises in Delhi, gangster Jitendra Gogi and two others were shot dead. According to sources, it was a clash between two gangster groups.

The attackers, who were dressed in lawyer's dresses fired at the gangster and the other two-person at Rohini court number 206 when Jitendra was presented before the judge. The attackers are believed to be from the Tillu Tajpuria gang.

The Incident took place right after Jitendra Gogi was presented in the court and was shot by his opponent. He was taken to court directly from jail.

Three people have also been injured due to a clash between the two gangster groups. A woman lawyer has also been injured in the incident.

According to media reports, 35 to 40 rounds were fired causing a commotion in the court premises.

In the incident, Delhi police's special cell also managed to kill two attackers.

Similar shootouts are happening in different parts of the country. In Assam, Bubu Konwar, Sivasagar's most wanted feared dacoit, was assassinated in a shootout with police near Geleky.

He claimed to have killed 42 people over the years and was responsible for a number of high-profile murders in the state.

According to Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) GP Singh, the dreaded gang kingpin was injured in an encounter near Geleky, which is considered a big accomplishment for the Assam Police. According to the ADGP, the officers brought him to a hospital where he died from his injuries.

According to police sources, Bubu was a key suspect in about 42 murder cases that occurred throughout the state. He was also reportedly involved in a huge number of cases including car theft, illicit drug trafficking, abduction, honey-trapping, illegal arms trafficking, fake currency circulation, and other crimes.

He was arrested in 2016 for car theft. He was also charged with the murders of Congress politician Hemanta Barua and Dr. Mridul Barua in 2006. Born in Nagaland, the feared dacoit frequently fled to the neighbouring state after committing atrocities in Assam.
