GUJRAT: A child's achievement always makes their parents proud, on a rare occurrence, a woman police Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI)'s son who has become a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) got posting in his mother's area.

His mother got very happy getting her son as a senior police official in the area. As per the police norms, she has to offer a salute to her son. Doing this she feels proud of her son, whom she raised overcoming various challenges.

The has happened in Gujarat. A few days ago, a senior Gujarat police official uploaded a photo on social media describing that a proud lady ASI saluted her DSP son in front of many. The photo has gone viral and many social media users lauded the mother-son due.

In the photo, it is seen that the lower-ranking lady police official offered her salute to a senior official of her department.

The lady is the mother of the senior police official. " There will be no happy moment than this. A mother offers a salute to her son," the official writes in his post.

Earlier, a picture of a sweet moment between a father and daughter, where the father is seen saluting his Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) daughter. Circle Inspector Shyam Sundar salutes his daughter, Jessi Prashanti, who is a DSP cadre in Andhra Pradesh went viral.

The Twitter account of Andhra Pradesh Police shared a picture of the sweet moment of their account. They captioned the picture as: "#APPolice1stDutyMeet brings a family together! Circle Inspector Shyam Sundar salutes his own daughter Jessi Prasanti who is a Deputy Superintendent of Police with pride and respect at #IGNITE which is being conducted at #Tirupati. A rare & heartwarming sight indeed! #DutyMeet"

The reports say that Jessi Prashanti is an engineering graduate, who belongs to the 2018 batch of DSPs. She is one among those from the first batch of DSPs that trained Andhra Pradesh after the bifurcation of the state. She also cracked the Andhra Pradesh Public Commission Group 1. Currently, she is the Guntur Urban South DSP.
