NEW DELHI: Satyendar Jain, a former minister of Delhi and leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), was admitted to Safdarjung Hospital after collapsing in the toilet of Tihar Jail, where he has been held since last year on suspicion of money laundering. He was then moved to the intensive care unit.

They stated that after a medical examination of the former minister, it was discovered that his essential organs were healthy. He was additionally directed to DDU Hospital due to his complaints of shoulder, back, and left leg pain.

Jain has now been moved to the intensive care unit at Delhi's LNJP Hospital. According to accounts, he is currently receiving oxygen support from AAP sources.

Saurabh Bharadwaj in a press meet said, “Disturbing news is coming about @SatyendarJain. He is looking very weak in very scary pictures. This morning the news came that he had injured his head after falling in the bathroom. Have been taken to LNJP for MRI. are on Oxygen. Will tell more when detailed report comes.”

Reacting to the news, Arvind Kejriwal reacted, “The person who was working day and night to provide good treatment and good health to the public, today a dictator is bent on killing that good person. That dictator has only one thought - to finish everyone, he lives only in "I". He only wants to see himself. God is watching all, He will do justice to all. I pray to God for Satyendra ji's speedy recovery. May God give them the strength to fight against these adverse circumstances.”

The former AAP minister Jain was rushed to Safdarjung Hospital earlier on Monday after he reported feeling unwell. Jain, according to the party, has persistent lower back discomfort brought on by a slipped disc and acute lumbar pain that makes him dizzy.

According to the AAP statement, a recent MRI performed on May 3 revealed degeneration in all of Satyendar Jain's intervertebral discs, prompting the doctors to advise urgent spinal/vertebral surgery and appropriate post-operative care.

However, in response to these accusations, the BJP stated that Mr. Jain was obese before to being arrested and that it was "good" that he has shed the extra pounds. According to Delhi BJP leader Vijendra Gupta, Mr. Jain's appearance was a result of how he took care of his body. He attributed the weight loss to the fact that he only ate once per day in accordance with his religious views.

Jain, who has been detained at Delhi's Tihar Jail since his arrest in relation to a money laundering case last year, was taken to the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Hospital on Saturday but was later transferred to the Safdarjung Hospital because he sought a second opinion.
