THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BBC documentary on Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be screened by Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI), and Student Federation of India (SFI). 

The episode will take place in Kerala, as stated by DYFI and SFI. The announcement has been made on Facebook that the documentary titled as 'India: The Modi Question' will be screened across the state. 

The event will be continue for two days, Tuesday and Wednesday. The Facebook post also mentioned about a show going to take place at Poojappura at Thiruvananthapuram. 

The SFI stated that the documentary on the Prime Minister will be demonstrated on varied campuses. On 23rd of January, Monday, few students of Hyderabad Central University (HCU) conducted the demonstration of the BBC documentary inside the institution premises. 

Student Islamic Organisation (SIO) and Muslim Student Federation along with more than 50 students were engaged in the process. Mahesh, the ABVP student leader stated that, the matter has been sent to the authorities of the concerned university and urged for actions against the happening. 

The group had conducted the screening with any sort of consent inside the campus. However, the Hyderabad police refuses to take any legal action against the matter as no written complaint has been filed against the same. 

On the other hand, authorities of Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi, has warned against screening of the BBC documentary following a pamphlet released by few students. The pamphlet invited students of the university at the students union office at 9 pm on 24th of January. 

The JNU authorities claimed that, the students without any kind of permission has taken up the step which is unauthorised and might create a havoc situation inside the college campus. 

It is worth mentioning here that, the Centre declared the BBC documentary series as controversial and termed it as propaganda piece, formed to portray a discredited narrative.
