Kolkata: Bengali Actress Bidisha De Majumdar Found Hanging At Her Apartment

Kolkata: A 21-Year-old Bengali film star Bidisha De Majumdar was found dead at her apartment in Kolkata's Dum Dum area here on Wednesday.

According to reports, Majumdar had moved into the apartment barely a month-and-a-half back and she was also going through a very troubled relationship.

The reports further claimed that the actress was missing for some days and also her apartment door was found to be locked from the inside.

After receiving a call from her friend, police broke the door and found her hanging in the Nagerbazar area of Dum Dum.

The initial investigation indicates that it is a case of suicide. However, cops are also gathering information from Bidisha's family and close friends.

Meanwhile, her dead body has been sent for post-mortem

Recently, Bidisha De made her debut in 2021 in Anirbed Chattopadhya's film 'Bhaar- The clown' and the protagonist of the film was a well-known actor, Debraj Mukherjee.
