NEW DELHI: A 55-year-old man Dularchand Munda of Salgadih village in Bokaro who was paralyzed and lost his voice four years ago in an accident has been able to move and speak after receiving the COVID-19 vaccination, on January 4.
After an accident four years ago, Dularchand lost his voice and became paralyzed, according to his family."I'm glad I got this immunization. After receiving the vaccine on January 4, I am able to move my legs.
Dr. Jitendra Kumar, a civil surgeon in Bokaro, was amazed to see Munda move and talk. He's requested the formation of a medical team to investigate Dularchand's medical history.
"I'm astounded to see this. Scientists must, however, confirm this. It would be understandable if he recovered from a medical issue that was only a few days old, but recovering from a four-year-old medical condition after taking the vaccine is unfathomable ", stated the doctor.
When the medical world conducts research on Dularchand Munda's illness and recovery, accurate information and answers will be available in the following days," Albel Kerketta, in charge of Petarwar health center, stated. Dularchand and his family received the vaccine on January 4 from an Anganwadi center worker, according to Kerketta. The next day, Dularchand's motionless body began to stir.
Raju Munda, a village teacher, described the experience as "nothing short of a miracle." Munda claimed Dularchand, had undergone treatment that cost Rs 4 lakh, but it resulted in nothing. "How can the COVID-19 vaccination work miracles'" he pondered.
Dularchand and his family were given the Covishield vaccine by an Anganwadi Centre worker in January, according to reports. The next day after being vaccinated, Dularchand was able to move his lifeless body.
