Guwahati: In addition to the ten pairs of Festival Special Trains announced earlier, the Northeast Frontier Railway will run two more festival special trains. The Chief Public Relations Officer, Subhanan Chanda said that these trains will provide weekly service, and will run till November 28.
The two new special trains are 01665/01666 Agartala- Habibganj Special and 04083/04084 Katihar-Delhi Special.
The Habibganj-Agartala (01665) Special train will leave Habibganj at 5 pm every Wednesday and reach Agartala at 9.30 pm on Friday. In the return journey, Agartala-Habibganj (01666) Special train will leave Agartala at 2 pm on every Saturday and reach Habibganj at 5.10 pm. The trains will start running from October 28 and October 31, respectively.
The other pair of special trains, Delhi-Katihar (04084) Special train will leave Delhi at 11 pm every Friday and reach Katihar at 10 pm the next day. In the return journey, Katihar-Delhi (04083) Special train will start at 11.50 pm from Katihar every Saturday and will reach Delhi at 10.50 pm the next day. The trains will start running from October 23 and October 24, respectively.
The Indian Railways have announced 392 trains (196 pairs) as Festive Special trains which will run from October 20 to November 30.
The CRPO also mentioned that there would be no unreserved coaches in the train. All the passengers must download the Aarogya Setu App and follow all the safety protocols of COVID-19.
