Padma shri Astad Deboo, kathakali dancer, passed away in Mumbai

Padma Shri & ace Kathak & Kathakali dancer Astad Debu, who created a unique dance style by combining Kathak and Kathakali, passed away on Thursday. He breathed his last at his residence in Mumbai.

He was 73 years old. Her dance career is unforgettable. Combining modern and old Indian dance, he presented a different dance form to the new generation. Through their dance, they dominated the rasikamana. He served art for over 5 decades. Astad Deboo's family reported his demise through social media. He breathed his last at his residence in Mumbai.
