Ranu Mandal, the lady with the sensational voice who shot to fame instantly after a singing video of her went viral on the social media. A woman who had so long been living an unknown poverty-stroke life, is today a singing sensation and it is her incredible talent that has brought her into the notice of noted music directors like Himesh Reshammiya as well.

It was just recently when Himesh Reshammiya had seen her singing live in a TV programme and right on coming to know about her, the music director had promised her of recording song with her. It is now keeping his promise that Himesh could be seen recording a new song with Ranu for his upcoming film 'Happy Hardy and Heer'.

Ranu was first seen singing in Kolkata’s Railway station where she was captured singing Lata Mangeshkar’s famous song ‘Pyaar Ka Nagmaa.’ Immediately after the video was uploaded on social media, the video went viral in an overnight. This was later followed by Ranu being invited to the sets of the reality show, Superstar Singer in which she happened to meet Himesh Reshamiya.

What is more amazing is to see that such amazing talents with particularly melodious voice would have left unseen and unknown had she not been recorded by one of the passers-by and uploaded on social media. For an ordinary woman like Ranu Mondal from West Bengal who had so long been sitting in the Kolkata railways station, singing and earning pennies for her livelihood, to come into the limelight and become popular in overnight is a matter of utter luck and fortune. This is just the beginning of her singing career and with such an amazing voice, she is to go a really long way.
