Ratan Tata posts a smashing pic of himself on Instagram after he learnt about  “throwbacks”

GUWAHATI: Renowned industrialist Ratan Tata posted a picture of himself from his days in Los Angeles. This happened after the philanthropist learned about “throwbacks."

He captioned the pic, "I was going to post this yesterday, but I was then told about “throwbacks” and how they occur on Thursdays. So here is a throwback from my days in LA, not long before I happily returned to India. #throwbackthursday."

Tata who joined Instagram recently has been posting several interesting pictures.

His first post read, "I don’t know about breaking the internet, but I am so excited to join all of you on Instagram! After a long absence from public life, I look forward to exchanging stories and creating something special with such a diverse community!"

Since then he has posted a pic that depicts his love for dogs. He also posted a picture of the "birth of India’s 1st indigenous car, The Tata Indica."

A whiff of nostalgia touched many when he posted a pic of JRD Tata.

"Jeh had been a dear friend, a role model, a mentor, and a person who had a profound influence on me, both at work and at home," he wrote.
