NEW DELHI: The Indian director SS Rajamouli whose movie RRR has paved its way to the Oscars recently, will appear as a chief guest in a US talk show on 9th of January. Rajamouli will be seen in the American comedian's show, Late Night with Seth Meyers. 

The other guest who will accompany in the same episode is actor Alison Williams. Rajamouli is currently promoting his massive hit RRR in the US ahead of the Golden Globes ceremony to be held on 10th January. 

Film critic J Hurtado announced Rajamouli's appearance in the US talk show in his latest tweet. The news overwhelmed the Indian audiences, as RRR is now going to be discussed in a global platform. 

SS Rajamouli along with the actors of RRR, Ram Charan and Jr NTR will attend a sold-out screening of the film at the Chinese Theatre. Notably, it falls under the category of the most huge IMAX theatre worldwide. The trio will further be present at the Golden Globes at Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles. 

RRR is nominated under the category of Best Foreign Film and Best Original Song. Besides Ram Charan and Jr NTR, RRR includes big superstars from bollywood, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgan. 

The film was released on 24th March, 2022. Ever since then, the movie is in the buzz and the process continues. The film got recognition not just in India but also in a global stature. It is worth mentioning that, RRR's Naatu Naatu song is the first ever Indian song to enter the Oscars. 

The infectiously catchy number has been nominated for Best Original Song category. The pan-India film is based on two real life revolutionaries prior to independence. 

The protagonist were played by Ram Charan and Jr NTR. The race for the Oscar will not be an easy one, as Naatu Naatu will have to compete with 14 other top hit songs. SS Rajamouli's RRR was made with a budget of Rs 550 crore, which is reportedly the most high budget film in Indian cinema.
