New Delhi: In a very misogynistic statement, Mukesh Khanna of 'Shaktimaan' fame said that the 'Me Too' movement started because women, who are meant to do household work, started working outside.

In a video clip that went viral on social media, Khanna was seen commenting on how women are not equal to men, and how they should only be limited to household chores.

"Today, women talk about walking arm to arm with men. But that is where the problem begins. The first member to suffer from this is the child, who does not get his or her mother by the side. The entire problem started when women started doing what men are supposed to do. But this is not right, man is man, and woman is woman," Khanna's comments saw an outrage on Twitter, as the netizens came forward to slam his remarks and trolled him.
