In such bizarre case of 'Manglik Dosha' in 'Kundli' of a teacher from Punjab took a drastic step to ward off the "Dosha" by forcefully marrying her own 13-year-old minor student.

According to reports, a teacher in Punjab's Jalandhar from Basti Bawa Khel Area who was apparently worried about not getting married due to the 'dosha' in her birth chart was suggested by a priest that her family would have to get her symbolically married to a minor in order to overcome the deficiency.

Meanwhile, a 13-year-old boy who attended the tuition classes by the woman was chosen as a groom and the minor's family was informed that he would have to stay at her teacher's house for extra classes for a week.

Further, as per the plan, the marriage rituals were conducted including that of 'Suhagrat' and the woman was later declared as a widow and a symbolic funeral was also conducted according to the procedures laid down by the priest.

However, the incident came to light after the boy, upon returning home, narrated the events to his family who lodged a complaint in the police station.

The victim also revealed that he was forced to perform marriage rituals and household chores during his one-week confinement at his teacher's residence.

Speaking to the media, an officer of Basti Bawa Khel Police Station Gagandeep Singh Sekhon has confirmed that the police had received the complaint but the same was later withdrawn following a compromise between the two parties.

Investigations have revealed that after the complaint, the accused teacher reached the police station and tried to hush up the matter. The victim's family was forced to withdraw the complaint under pressure from the accused woman.

Further, senior police officers have taken serious note of the incident and have ordered a probe. DSP Jalandhar Gurmeet Singh said the matter is under investigation as the boy is a minor and keeping him in confinement was illegal.
