DELHI: In a sensational incident, a married couple and their domestic help were found murdered in West Delhi's Harinagar area on Tuesday. In the police investigation, shocking facts have come to light with fingers pointing towards their former domestic help who was sacked last month.
The deceased includes 38 year old businessman Sameer Ahuja, his wife Shalu Ahuja (35) and their domestic help Sapna (33). Sameer Ahuja runs a garment business while his wife Shalu owns a beauty parlour.
Surprisingly, the couple's three and half year old daughter daughter was alive when the murder was committed, and was sleeping on the first floor in the three storied hall.
So far, Delhi Police have arrested 2 people in the case, however they are working on the whereabouts of 4 others who are still missing. Talking about the brutality of the crime, the Police said that the businessman's head was smashed with a frying pan while the throats of his wife and the maid were slit.
The heinous crime was uncovered soon after the couple's driver turned up at around 9 am in the morning to find that the house was entirely ransacked.
Based on initial investigation, the Police have revealed that the main accused entered Ahuja's house on the pretext of settling previous dues through the face recognition gate with the owner's permission. 4 others miscreants also reportedly entered the premises, all having knives in their possession, as per information. The miscreants reportedly took away an iPhone, a laptop, some cash and other valuable items from the house.
Two accused, Sachin and Sujeet, both residents of Delhi's Dwarka have so far been apprehended.
DCP (West) of Delhi Police Ghanashyam Bansal has further stated that the prime accused and his girlfriend were sacked from Shalu Ahuja's salon due to 'unprofessional conduct'. After a few days, his wife was also sacked from duty and DCP Bansal stated that he carried a grudge as he was insulted in front of his girlfriend who later roped in others for committing the heinous crime.
