An extremely decomposed body of an unidentified person was found in a very shed, reportedly within the agriculture land belonging to actor Akkineni Nagarjuna, late Wednesday night. Police suspect that the death might have taken place around six months ago and that they have initiated the probe.
According to the Cyberabad police, it's an unused agricultural land at Papireddyguda village, underneath the Keshampet policy limits. The police said that the land, spanning around 40 acres, was purchased by the popular Telugu actor and was left unused for a long time. Akkineni Amala, the wife of the Telugu superstar Akkineni Nagarjuna, had visited the land recently, within the first week of September month.
On Wednesday, reportedly some farm labourers who were ending agricultural work perceived foul-smell being emitted from a shed settled on the land. When they checked, a rotten body of a male was found within the shed. The workers directly alerted the Keshampet police, who inspected the scene with clues team and a dog squad.
As of now, the police have reportedly filed a case of suspicious death underneath section 174 of the CrPC on Thursday and are further going through the list of missing individuals within the village, to identify the deceased.
Recently, the Telugu superstar created news as he ringed in his sixtieth birthday on August 29. The Manmadhudu actor selected Ibiza Island in the Kingdom of Spain to celebrate his special occasion with family Naga Chaitanya, Samantha and Akhil, and a few of his shut friends.
On the work front, the 60-year-old actor is presently busy hosting Bigg Boss Telugu 3. He was last seen in Manmadhudu 2, pairing opposite Rakul Preet Singh.
