4th annual meet of ACTA Darrang and Udalguri zones organized

TANGLA, Dec 3: The 4th annual meet of Assam College Teachers Association (ACTA)  of Darrang and Udalguri zone was held at Kharupetia College with a day-long programme recently.  Tangla College, Udalguri College, Sipajhar College, Mangaldai College and Kharupetia College teachers participated in the programme. The day-long programme was initiated with hoisting of flag by Dr. Sachindra th which was followed by a delegate session that was also presided over by Dr th. Along with the teachers, the Principal of all the five colleges also graced the

event. The teachers stressed the need of holding Inter-College Exchange Lecture programmes, extension education programme for the welfare of the students among others. In the presence of Taizuddin Ahmed, ACTA central committee member, a new executive body of ACTA for Darrang and Udalguri zone was also formed with Dr Prab Kr. Sarma of Mangaldai College as president, Dr. Kusum Kr. Goswami of Tangla College as secretary, Dulendra th of Sipajhar College as assistant secretary along with zir Hussain Sarkar of Kharupetia  College and Robinson rzari of Udalguri College as executive members, Nur Zaman of Kharupetia College as treasurer and Anima Bhuyan Baruah of Tangla College as women cell convener.
