'90% works of Lum Sohpetbneng forest building completed'

SHILLONG, Oct 18: Executive Member in-charge Forest G M Kharpuri today informed that the construction of forest building at Lum Sohpetbneng is 90 per cent complete. This was revealed by the EM in-charge forest after HSPDP MDC, T S Thangkhiew raised a query on the subject matter during the Question Hour on the first day of the Council’s Winter Session on Tuesday. Informing that that the total amount estimated for the construction of the forest building is Rs. 17.69 lakh, Kharpuri said that the construction of the building has been contracted to one N Lyngdoh.
