AJYCP activists gherao Lahdoigarh police outpost

Jorhat, March 14: AJYCP Kakojan unit on Monday gheraoed the Lahdoigarh police outpost under Teok police station in protest against alleged police failure to arrest the accused person in the sensatiol  Prasanta Bora murder case which had taken place in Lahdoigarh one year ago.

AJYCP condemned the alleged negligence on the part of the investigating agency and vehemently criticized the role of Jorhat SP Amanjeet Kaur. About hundreds of local residents and AJYCP activists shouted slogans against police and administration. They demanded that police must be arrest the culprit and necessary action must be taken immediately or there would be  a massive protest against the police, they warned. Later Amrit Sing, OC Teok, circle officer Teok, Prabjit Kakoti discussed about the murder case with the protesters.
