All Adivasi Students’ Association of Assam Demand ST Status

Gossaigaon: Hundreds of All Adivasi Students’ Association of Assam (AASAA) members staged a human chain protest at NH-31C in Gurufella and around Kachugaon of Gossaigaon sub-division in demand of ST status. The protest started at 9am and concluded at 12 noon.

The members of All Adivasi Students’ Association of Assam (AASAA) displayed placards, raised anti-government slogans. “If the Bill is not passed in Rajya Sabha on February 9 then on February 11 we will observe 12-hour bandh all over Assam,” they said.
