Dibrugarh, July 27: Along with other parts of the State, many judicial employees protested on Thursday morning against the alleged neglect being shown by the Anomaly Committee (formed to remove the anomalies of the Seventh Pay Commission) towards their demands. Under the aegis of the All Assam Judicial Employees’ Association, the employees voiced their demands within the premises of the Dibrugarh district and Sessions Court. Asserting that the failure to implement the recommendations of the Shetty Commission had led to them being denied of the all the deserving benefits under the Seventh Pay Commission, the judicial employees, wearing black badges, demanded for immediate implementation of those recommendations. They, at the same time, also called upon the Anomaly Committee of the Seventh Pay Commission to take steps to get their demands addressed. Moreover, ensuring that the normal functioning of the court was not affected, the employees ended their protests before 10 am.
