All India Radio Dibrugarh Felicitates Renowned Scholar

Dibrugarh: “The ones choosing the profession of a teacher shouldn’t make the choice solely based on the remuneration factor. There is a lot of responsibility for a teacher, and a true teacher has a very elevated status. Of course, it is the responsibility of every teacher to raise themselves to that status,” said renowned scholar of English literature, Professor Emeritus, Dr. Amaresh Dutta while receiving a token of appreciation from AIR, Dibrugarh on Wednesday.

In line with the ongoing golden jubilee year of AIR Dibrugarh, a group of members representing the prestigious organisation felicitated Dutta with a phulam gamosa, umal chadar and a bunch of flowers at his Naliapool residence. The group expressed its gratitude to Dutta for his priceless contributions to the field of literature. The certificate of felicitation, presented to Dutta, was read out by the Programme Head of AIR, Dibrugarh, Lohit Deka.
